Hi there!

I have two fish tanks, a 10 gallon and a 29 gallon. My 29 gallon I am having problems with the water, This is the second time the water has gone cloudy on me. I've only had the tank since Feb. Last time I did a 30% water change and that solved the problem for the time being. Now the water is cloudy again, Im wondering how often should I be doing water changes on this tank? What could be causing the cloudy water?

Could some one provide me with a link to the correct test kit I should have, the kind that tests everything? I have a Ph test kit. I live in a small town and I can pretty much only get my supplies at walmart. Some times drive an hour away for the mall and out there are Pet stores and Petco and such. I would like to pick up a correct test kit.

Thanks to any help, If you need any more info on the tank please ask away, I am desperate to get this problem fixed.

Thanks!

i used to have the same sort of problem a long while ago and i found apart from doing a 20 to 30% water change weekly to to leave the tank well alone dont play around with it. also put some wool in your filter. that helps catch the little particles. what filter are you using. you may need to upgrade your filter. i also used a thing called aqua-clear. now i dont have that problem. hope this helps
