For the last month my water has seemed alittle cloudy(white). I am planning on using a water treatment that says u need to take out the carbon when using. So my ? is how long do i need to leave the carbon out?

I would sort out why the water is cloudy rather than plough in with chemicals...
Is this a new setup ?
Could you please post water specs...

I don't know my actually water spec, the guy at petsmart said they were good thats all i now except my ph is 7.4
It's a 29 gallon tank that i have had set up for about 3 months.
I have 2 filters and I have 4 giant danios, 8 tiger barbs, and 1 rubernose pleco

Milky cloudy water is often caused by too much food in the water. Cut back on the feeding and do some daily water changes and gravel cleans for a week. See if that helps.
When you clean the filter don't wash it out under tap water. Clean the sponges and other filter media out in a bucket of aquarium water and when they are clean put them back in the tank.

If you do treat the tank with a chemical then take the carbon out and throw it away. New carbon can be put back in after a week. It is a good idea to do a partial water change before you put the new carbon back in. Then replace the carbon after a few days as it will be pretty full after absorbing the chemical from the tank water.
If you use plant fertilisers then don't bother using carbon.
