hi, every1 i recently purchased a biorb for christmas for the booklet step by step, took a sample of my water to my local aquatic shop for my p.h level they said every thing is fine, but my water is always cloudy, ive done a water change recently(1 third) but still no change can any1 help?

hi, the aquatic shop don a test on everything for me and said evereything was fine, as for the fish ive only got 2 fantails and 1 blackmoore as a start to just see if everything was o.k

How many gallons is the biorb 6 or 12 gallons.
Bad advice given I'm afraid no way should a goldfish be put in a biorb.
For one the tank is round and the need length.
Bad filter they need double the tank size.
The first golldfish alone need 20 gallon, as they are massive waste producers, you need a least a 40 gallon tank.
I would take both them back to the lfs to be honest, as they will die of ammonia poisoning.

that was what the fella in the fish shop told me to get to start off and then start adding some more, its a 60ltr so you wreckon i go and take them back? :shout:  thanks for your help, what do you recomend to get then to start off?

Terrible advice the fish will suffer and not nice to watch believe me, had to go through it with my sister years back when she bought them.
Do a thread in chat asking what fish, and I would advise a fishless cycle before buying more fish.

Best bit of advice is to research the fish your self before you buy them, as sadly there more bad lfs giving bad advie out than good.
