Cloudy Water

My filter broke yesterday so I had to go out this morning to buy a new one. I put part of my old filter media inside the new filter and the new filter has been in my tank now for about 8 hours but I've now noticed the water has gone a bit cloudy. Is this normal and should I do anything to try and get rid of it? Or will it just go on it's own?

It should just be normal as it sounds like your tank is cycling so I would not worry about it now.

Its normal its just bacteria should go with in a few days

It should clean up in a day or two here. I would not worry about it. It seems your filter just needs to clean up your tank some as since yours was not running for a while.
