cloudy water

I recently added a genral treatment to my tank which instructed me to remove the cabon media from my tank the water has become pretty cloudy .

Its always been clear before,

could it be the treatment (Interpet: Anti internal bacteria No.9)??

Or is it the removal of carbon

Anyone got any suggestions?

when i took the carbon out of my new filter my fish needed mineing helmets... i soon got another carbon peice an its now clear
