i started my tank on saturday,

i have no fish yet, but have put a couple of flakes of food in to start the cycle, today the water looks cloudy, not really murky just slightly cloudy.

i know i'm probably worrying about nothing and this is more than likely a stupid question, but is this nomal and how long will it last?

i decided to add some fish this coming weekend, can i still do this or will i have to wait now?

I agree, you do need test kits. I also agree that the brand Wilder showed you are fantastic. Cloudy water is a natural stage of the cycle should pass quite quickly.

Thank you,

Thanks for the link too.

i wasnt too sure which was the best fish to start with, but i do intend on keeping guppies and tetras, if you could give me an idea what i can get that will go with those i'd be very grateful :)

They are both good hardy fish so to start with either would be acceptable (once the tank has cycled obviously) good companions are platies, smaller species of gourami and cories to name but a few.

How big is the tank in gallons or litres, i would start of with some danios.

That fine then, i would start off with danio hardy fish, good luck.
