Cloudy Tank

Hi All,

I have had my rio 180 for approx 2 months now and have just got all my water chemistry down to the correct levels

PH 7.2
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 20

Hardness 14

I now do a 20 percent water change weekly and all seems well, but I seem to have a very slight foggy issue, I have just started to put a hardness cushion in to try and bring the hardness down a bit but can not explain what is going on, I would appreicate any help or advice you can give me.

The fish I have are

6 zebra Danio
1 Leopard Danio
5 Platys
5 Male Guppies

For the record I also have a air pump and stone installed.

After i installed the hardness cushion for a couple of days it seemed to be getting better, after a couple of days without the cushion it seems to have got worse. Help.

when i first started my tank was slighty foggy as well, i used these jungle buddy tablets for clear water and it cleared right up for me and i have never had that problem again.

Thanks for th quick reply, forgive me please but what are Jungle Buddy tablets and where can I get them from and who makes them, any other advice would be great also. keep it coming. Cheers.

i'm not sure if they distribute all over the globe, but when your looking for medications at the fish store they come in a cardboard box, they are inexpensive and mine is in a blue/red box and it will say water clear, fungus clear, parasite clear, whatever the problem may be.
