Can you isolate the fish in quarantine? If so,, is what I would do and perhaps try salt at one table spoon per five gallons of water with daily water change and re-dose.
Might try this for a week or more depending on result's.
Why are you overdosing Excel?

hi, thanks... i done a 60% wc.. and seems to be ok..

i am overdosing excel due to bba.

I see,, I have heard report's of those who lost fish while possibly overdosing with Excel.
Don't pretend to know enough about it to comment further, but maybe something to google?
Water changes often bring their own cure and would dilute harmful additives at same time if indeed too much of something was contributer.

i am not overdosing excel too much. just time and half. it do wonders i have to say.

a brief drop to 25 wont hurt your fish , is this a new discus? it could be something as simple as a netting injury , or maybe even the fish got spooked and injured itself banging into wood etc . or it can also be a bacterial infection . if it doesnt start to clear up in a couple of days with clean water myxazin should help

i very much doubt its caused by the excel , you have to heavilly overdose to affect the fish , and you would see them gasping at the surface

thanks mark... its not a new fish.. this one and another one seems to be fighting for last few days, since i put some new plants and bit of resceping. and my cats occasional visit to fish tank is not helping either.

lets see how is it gos..

could just be an injury from the fighting , in which case nothing more than extra waterchanges is needed. that would be my 1st course of action before resorting to meds :good:
