Cloning Tank

hi all,

have a set up tropical tank that is fully cycled and has bene up and running for a year now.

how do i clone it?

have a 45 litre tank that im currently cycling with platties but was advised that cloning it would speed it up.

Take some media from the cycled tank (preferably bio media if you have different types) and put it in the new tank. You should now be instantly cycled for light stocking (depending on how much media you removed - remove 10% of the media from the existing tank, you can stock for 10% of that tank's stocking level in the new one).
