Climbng Perch And Angelfish?

Will these two species live peacfully together??

my ctenopoma and 2 angels ignore each other in a 55 gal
1 angel about 5 years old the other is almost full grown ctenopoma is only 2.5 inches but so far no prob. for anyone bigger then ctenopoma's mouth no fin nipping from ctenopoma :good:

Thanks much :D I guess I'll get one of these little guys, even if I do have to purchase it from *gulp* Walmart...

no prob.i got my ctenopoma from a big box pet store also and next to my blue crayfish hes my favorite thing in the tank.
but be aware that i have heard that ctenopoma can be aggressive but iv never seen mine act that way (except to ghost shrimp).from what iv heard they are very different individually. but i love mine. lots of personality. best luck :fish:

You have a blue cray living hapily with angels?
ya for close to a year now. the angels stay mid to top and the blue cray stays on the bottom(for the most part) why do u ask??
am i missing something? have i been lucky up till now? the only fish that have ever been eaten were sick or very stressed (swimming near the sides at the top of the tank) and im fairly sure they died in the night and the cray was "cleaning up". also the afor mentioned ctenopoma has shared the same fake hollow log (with the cray) for about a year. maybe iv just gotten lucky and got a very passive cray and she has enough room to be happy?? not sure.
