i should stop calling them chins on other forums I am used to being on the chinchilla forum so they are chins or furballs

Awww, Cleo is beautiful!

I used to have two Chinchillas, a female grey one and a male beige one. They were the friendliest, cuddliest little things, not the evil things people make them out to be I had to give mine away to a friend cos my dog just couldn't deal with them being in the house She was driving us all nuts whining and trying to get into the room they were in, i was paranoid she'd eat them eventually!!

I believe they had babies last year!

I have 2 babies in at the moment the owners dog killed both the parents while she was out.Chinchillas are very quickly becoming one of the most neglected pets in the UK .You wouldnt belive the conditions some of them are living in when we go to pick them up

that'd reduce the amount of neglect cases i reckon.

You would think so but they just dont care.I got 2 more on Sunday and we are in the middle of sorting a big rescue among us
