clear water

Whats the secret to keeping crystal clear water? Anyone know? I'm dying to know! thanks

Regular water changes and gravel vacuums, and the right sized filter has always worked for me

Well one of my tanks looked a bit funny a few weeks ago, not cloudy, but not exactly crystal clear either, I added a live plant and 2 bristlenosed cats, and next morning, the water was crystal! I only have a couple of plants in there, but, oh well!

#1 is water change
#2 is filtration, higher gph= clearer watter
#3 is filter media, carbon and fine filter/filter floss will both help in different ways

If the watter is green then it's a different story, also wood will change watter color and nothing can be done about that

If you have gravel like previously said, regular vacuuming removes all the waste and I have found that aeration of the water helps.

ye but there must be sum thin else 2 make crystal clear
