Cleaning used tank

I’ll be getting a 40 gallon breeder tank that was used for a reptile.

How do I go about cleaning it with vinegar?

Use a new, clean sponge (not one that has any soap impregnated into it) and scrub the tank, then rinse it well afterwards.You don't need neat vinegar, a mix of one part vinegar to three or four parts warm water is fine.

You can also use hot salty water, or salt on half a lemon.
