Cleaning Ro Filters? How Often?

recently purchase an RO filter and not to sound thick but do you clean RO filters or just buy news ones, if so how often do you replace them?

I think you replace some (like DI ones) and clean others but not too sure.

I need to find out really as I'm getting one soon.

replace carbon and 5 micron every 6 months replace di resin when tds does not drop when going through replace membrane when tds rises

The instructions for mine tell me to backflush mine everytime it's not used for 3 or more days.
