Cleaning My Filter Out

Hi, my tanks been going for 35 days now and i was wondering when to clean my filter? im worried about buying new media for it because if i put new media in it wont it need to cycle again? its a eheim pick up 2008.

Sounds about time to clean the media. All you do is get a bucket of tank water, not tap water, and rinse the media out in there.

You never buy new media unless the old stuff is falling apart.

Wicked video mate thanks alot ive just added a few cherry shrimp to my tank do you think its still ok to go ahead and clean my filter tomorrow?

Yeah, it should be fine, just so long you clean it how I demonstrated in the video.
