What is the process for cleaning limestone from the garden. I was planning to give it a really good scrub in a mild Milton solution in as hot a water as I can stand, then pour boiling water over it. Is this sufficient or do I need to boil it and if so how long for?

Didn't think limestone was all that good for an aquarium unless your controling PH.

Boiling rocks is dangerous. If it has an air pocket it could shatter all over your kitchen! I do pour boiling water over rocks when cleaning them....I have also boiled water and done a "dip" and then an extra scrub.

I'm setting up a Malawi tank so it is for controlling PH.

I didn't think boiling them was right but just had to ask.
