cleaning gravell

I am new to this forum and think it is cool

could anybody advise that when cleaning gravell is it essential to move rocks and plants to clean the gravell under them.or is it ok to clean round them.

i generally clean round them once a week then once every few weeks i take them up and clean underneath. i wouldnt recommend never cleaning underneath as a surprising amount of stuff gets trapped under there...ew.

yea i agree with clutter

i usualy just stick the siphon under the rock or whatever and let the gravel get sucke dup and then when i lift the siphon back up the gravel falls back into place
