Cleaning Gravel?

Hi,

brand new to all this.

Bought a Ferplast Cayman 60 classic, some bog wood and a nice stone and about 15kg of gravel.

I didn't realise you needed to clean the gravel and bogwood before using them so I've went and added them straight in and the water has turned very very cloudy. Can't see the back of the aquarium. I changed all the water but this only helped slightly.

My question is will the filter be able to clean the water or do I need to empty all the water out and clean the gravel and bogwood?

Please help.

It will filter out & settle eventually, it may take a day or 2. If no fish are involved I'd pull it out & rinse it.
