Cleaning Diffusers

What do you guys use to clean your diffuser. Ive been using tesco value thin bleach, after 36 hours there is still some algae

Is your diffuser cleaner than this? If so what do you use.

I just put some neat bleach (non-scented) on the ceramic disk and leave it for an hr or so. Then wash it off and put some dechlorinator on it and leave for another hr or so. That should shift it, but it might not always get it 100% white again.

with my ladder diffuser i just wipe it under running water that works fine for me
