I have a 55g that was used for saltwater for a few years. When it was taken down it was washed out, not very good. I am wanting to set it up for a freshwater tank but it still has some old dried coraline algae spots and the glass has a green film on it. Any idea what the best way to get this glass looking good again is?

I use a mixture of vinegar and hot water with a bristle scrubby brush (for tank only). Maybe that will work ? Just rinse it really well afterwards. I would rinse well, let dry, rinse again.
