so today i decided it might be nice to have a little clean up crew in my tank, just to get it looking a little nicer and also to add some more life to the tank at the moment.
what whould be a good SMALL clean up crew (no more than 1" -1 1/2") for my freshwater Aquarium. it would need to be plant friendly and also fish friendly. maby eat some algae (i dont have much, it just on the 3D background alittle bit) but i dont have enough for an Algae eater to survive off it.
just to help you out on what could survive in my tank here will be my fish list (the red one i dont have yet)

5 Adolfi Corys (getting 5 more)
6 Odessa Barbs
7 Golden Minnows
2 Herliquin Rosybarbs (to be moved to 10gall biOrb when medication over and 4 more to be added)
2 Colombian tetras
2 Platys (can be moved)
10 Empiror Tetras

and that all i can think of.

i have hard and slightly alkiline water

i hope there is a little critter that i can have in my tank (after i made a big narrowing down on options )

Shang hi :good:

Mystery snails don't get too large and thrive in hard water which is esp good for their shell growth. They eat all kinds of algae.

I don't know about shrimps, there's a thread in the invertebrates forum saying barbs and shrimp aren't compatible.

Snails would do good though.

Ottos would be fine, but without algae it can be fatal whilst attempting to wean them off it, plecos work too.
