Hey one of my platys is swimming with clamped fins, is this a sign of stress? Also she looks like she has rubbed the skin off next to her eye. Its not bleeding and dosnt really look like a wound. She is chesnut in colour and the saw is silvery so i guess it sortof looks like she has rubbed the colour off. Any help is appreciated

Ok.
Need more info on size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
The wound does it have and redness to it.
Peeling skin can be due to the fish has caught itself on something in the tank, bad water quality, bacterial, to parasite.

ok i have no way to test the nitrates but the ph is neutral, here are 5 platys and 3 bristlenoses. Its another breeding tank and i think there are about 7 or 8 fry swiming around. Its about 30-35 litres, the wound is a sort of goldy couur now with no redness or bleeding. does this help?
