What is the best treatment for a female guppy with clamped fins? I read about using salt somewhere.

Clamped fins is a general sign of unease, not a symptom of a specific disease. You need to observe the fish, and the tank, closely to identify why she is feeling uncomfortable, then deal with that. I would first test the water stats, check the temperature and give her a close look (any spots, swellings, ragged fins etc?); if that does not help sit down and watch how she interacts with other fish. Could there be bullying? Is she pregnant?

Well I actually took her from my sister who seems to have been ignoring her a bit. She is not pregnant, she is rather skinny. She has been isolated for quite a bit because she had been sick i believe.

You say skinny is she still eating, has she been fed.

Yes she is eagerly eating, and i was told she was being fed. I'm wondering if she has a parasite or something that is keeping her skinny?

I just looked there is nothing. She goes to the bathroom like normal. Now last night and this morning still she is sitting on the bottom of the tank. She seems to be getting weaker and weaker.

What is her poop like? It sounds like it is most likely internal bacteria to me, quite a common desease in guppys and amoungst other symptoms, causes weight loss and clamped fins.

Well it's brown like her food and kind of short, cause she's so small. It doesn't take long for it to come out after she eats.

She has been sitting on the bottom of the tank all day so far, she does not seem interested in food, and hasn't swam around at all yet. She seems to be breathing kind of rapidly, but not overly. I feel so bad for her. I wish there was something that would make her all better, but i'm afraid there isn't.

I would advise treating her with "anti slime and velvet" by Interpet and another med called Pimafix- a friend of mine had a female guppy with similar symptoms not so long ago and i treated her guppy for her with this med combo and the guppy cleared up within a week. The Pimafix will treat anything internal bacterial going on inside her and the velvet/slime med will help rid any external parasites on her as well.
The skinnyness could have also been brought about if she had a particularly stressful time giving birth to any fry recently and simply did not recover well from it. I would do some small water changes to make sure the water quality is as clean as posible and put her on a diet of frozen (not dried) bloodworms, krill and daphinia to help her regain her energy and weight  .

Well i had added medication as suggested however, i just looked at her again tonight and she is gone. She looked peaceful, so i hope she didn't suffer to much....

Sorry for your loss- you did your best though. Sometimes its just simply too late to treat fish when they are ill.
