Clamped Fins? Whats Wrong? - He's A Gonner

He went from a tiny, half filled dirt cup to a split 10g.
I'm also throwing in the card that he could've died of old age.
he seemed fairly big, and just seemed like the grand pa fish.

I've been left dazed and confused aswell.
This is the one fish death that i have no clue about the cause. at all.
Colour was bright, he ate little bits, but just clamped his fins and couldn't swim. and he lay in one spot, then just died.

I'm stumped.
