I know this is probably subject to opinion, but I'm trying to decide the best place to locate my pump. It is going to be in a standard sized 75 USG tank. One side of the tank is going to have an AC110 and the other is getting an AC50. The tank is going to be planted, so the main goal is to avoid any deadspots. Would it be smarter to place the pump on the side with the 110 or the 50? Check out my fab drawing and my idea for placement:

My thoughts on this are that the AC50 is going to have a tougher time creating a good current than the 110, so I would place the pump on the 110 side and angle it towards the front glass like you see in hopes that it will create a nice circular current around the tank and help more detritus at the 50, and the 110 will have no problems making its own current.

What are your thoughts on the best placement for a pump, given the scenario?

Seems good to me, i also went for a circular motion.

What about on the 50 side, pointing towards the back wall?

So water is pushed fromthe 110 around the front where it meets the 50 and powerhead an is pushed down the back wall to the 110
