Hello there please can any body advise.

I have noticed this morning one of my trio of dalmatian mollies swimming round and round in tight circles as if after attention.
We already have 2 no. babies in a breeding net I wonder is this another mating gesture as part of the court ship or is she about to breed again.

Can you tell me how often Mollies will reproduce after the first offspring.

Thanks :D

it is normally about everymonth. is she swimming wierdly like wagging her entire body or is she just swimming like normal? i would watch her for the rest of the day closely.

Definitely wagging whole body swimming in tight circles and banging into things.
Feeding okay breathing seems ok. ???

I just had this happen and it was because she was being beaten by males but she was fine in a couple days. before this did any fish not really like her.

No problems previously from what I have seen although the mollies are the larger fish in my tank and are quite bold when it comes to food.

I thought the circling may have been an indication of a sick fish.

All others appear fine 5 neon tetras, 6 glo-lites, 6 purple tetras, 3 blue platys, 3 gold platys, 3 catfish, and 3 dalmatian mollies.

150ltr tank

She might be sick but i found out that the smallest fish in the tank was beating on her and she was also VERY old. she just died a couple minutes ago and wasnt looking that good before. :rip:

Sorry for your loss,R.I.P. she wasn't whirling was she.

She wasn't whirling she was just swimming in cirles and shaking violently. the other fish that did this has fully recovered.
