It was sugested by someone in the african section to post my question here.

I have heard there are colorful cichlids like electric yellows that will do well & fit in with non cichlid community fish. I am looking to add some color to my community tank. Does anyone have a list of low-agressive cichlids that would fit in with the fish I have listed in my signature? And what things make them most comfortable? Thanks.

Check out the keyhole cichlid and the rainbow cichlid.

I would say there are a lot of them. Try looking on the Cichlids-Central and South American Cichlid section of the Fish Index section of the forum.

The Apistogramma, Mikrogeophagus, Taeniacara, Nannacara, some Laetacara , Mesonauta, Pterophyllum, and some Pelvichromis species are usually peaceful.

The Apistogramma, Mikrogeophagus, Taeniacara, Nannacara, Pterophyllum, and Pelvichromis, such as kribs, are good for community aquariums.

You could put a severum in there - nice and big, but very non-aggressive.
