Hi!

Ive got a 45G tank already set up and running which currently houses, glowlight tetra, black neon tetra, kuhli loaches and oto's. I was wondering which cichlids would be best suited for this type of tank?

Thanks.

Just a few........ Kribensis, german blue rams, golden rams, bolivian rams, angel fish. But i wouldn't suggest angel fish if you have tetras as they are angel fish's staple food in the wild.

I'd say kribensis are very nice fish and overlooked by many fish keepers, they come in many different types. They are also very easy to care for and breed.

Most of the smaller Cichlids only become aggressive/territorial when breeding. All they tend to do is chase other fish away from their territory, with little harm done.
As well as the ones that have been suggested, you could also try Apistogrammas, Keyhole Cichlids and Dwarf Flag Cichlids. All very peaceful community fish and don't get too big either.
