i was just wondering what type of cichlids would go good in a 29 gall im interested in convicts jackdempsys fire mouth quetzal red devils jaguar cichlids and maybe angel fish those are what im interested in thanks

Out of your list only cons or firemouths would be suitable for a 29, and you won't be able to keep very many. The other fish you listed need more like 200 gal at a minimum(with the exception of the JD and angel).

Do some research on apistos. Awesome fish with brilliant colors and great personalities. Stay small, breed easily and best of all, won't outgrow the 29!!

ok, Convicts 1 pair would work, Jackdempsys no unless you get the powder blue kind, a pair of firemouths would work, Red devils No, Jaguars No, Angelfish depends on wether the tank is tall enough (should be 18 inches)

a 29gal. is more than enough for 2 pair of angels, 1 pair of convicts and i would like to see the powder blue dempseys.

That is until the convicts breed and kill all the other fish.
