It looks like a species of Geophagus, possibly G. braziliensis![]()
I have a pair and the female is 6" the male 9" ( SL -+ tails) - they are less than three years old & still growing but have slowed down.got a breeding pair! i knew geophagus brarilius to only grow 6" in the aqauria, is it only 12" in the wild?
