Cichlid ID please

i've never seen a texas with stripes. THey mostly have splotchy bodies

When they're breeding or showing displays of aggression, texas cichlids as well as most other Herichthys species will turn very light on the front half of the body with black on the chin area and the back half of the body will turn to a medium or dark grey and there will be black vertical bars on the back half of the body.
