i got these fish from a good friend who found them in his mothers tank yesterday ,but i dont exactly know what they are. :lol: any help?

That's not a convict... But not sure as blured
It's properly a blue zebra or related.
It's clearly not Pseudotropheus demasoni.

2nd is a Nimbochromis venustus... Can be a nasty fish easily getting to 6inches and some get to 10"!
 
i was thinking that the second one may be a nimbochromis livingstonii. i am hoping and praying it isnt because it is a beautiful fish.

It's 100% venustus, livingstonii is more brown in colour
 
Bigger the better. 4ft tank min

So guessing 50 gallons?
 
Top one is a blue kenyi and bottom is a venestus.
after thouroughly looking him over in a profish bagger that i got for christmas i agree. only he has a weird little thing going on with his top fin that has red colouring starting to develope. is that usual in kenyis or certain variations of kenyis?
