Cichlid Community

I recently aquired a Golden Ram and Blue Ram ( they are living in separate tanks) and am intrigued by their personalities and have decided I would like to set up a community tank of small Cichlids. I don't want to breed them so was thinking of one of each kind. So far I am considering one Ram, and one Krib but am at a loss as to other small compatible Cichilds. The tank is a 29 gallon. Any suggestions for other additions? Thanks!

I was also wondering th compatiblity with kribs and rams.
As for smaller cichlids: Keyholes, some Brichardi and
Dwarf apisto are some that grow no more than 3.5 inches and are more nicer spirited cichlids.

Nene, I've been driving myself insane with the same question. And wow, those apisto's are colorful. I never knew what they looked like before. Good luck with your tank
