hi all, (me again)

after discussing what fish i can keep etc i now need to do my homework on them. so i need a good book on cichlids.
it needs to cover, dwarf cichlids like cockatoo and agassizzi and also things like keyholes (if possible)
a book with good pictures, and lots of info would be great. colour book.

anyone recommend one?

The internet. It is about $30 a month here. Worksgreat for me. Oh, and the book never ends... :good:

but i often find the internet to be very basic and often wrong. i prefer to sit down and read rather than stare at a computer screen.

I have read much more inaccurate information in a book rather then the internet (well this site more so.) Information is always being updated and revised too, the internet is ever changing but a book will always be the same.

ditto, personally I prefer nothing more than sitting down in the evenings and going through a few books, sometimes the internet is a bit much for me, does my head in staring at a screen!

sorry i cant be of help with the books mate.- have you tried pfk though, i know they did do an dwarf cichlid article a couple months back, and they always have good info,

Just stop in at the library and get all the books on cichlids and then write down the temp/ph/size/special care about them like I did when making my community. And if you find anything strange post a topic here :) Very fun and simple.
Don't forget to click my eggs!!!
