hi, im thinking of getting a pair of kribs for my 39gal, when i went to maiden head aquatics they had a pair of kribs for £12 and single1 ones were £4.50, if i bought two single ones that look like they are getting alongin the tank, would they pair when i put them in my tank?, or have i got to sellect four kribs 2 male 2 female and let them do the pairing?, can you help plz thnx

and one more question lol :p i was thinking of having a pair of bolivian rams for the tank aswell, would they get along with the kribs or will they scrap?

im asking these questions on here because petstores are hopeless, atleast there are people on here that know what they are talking about :D

Although simply adding a female and a male can usually evolve into a bonded pair, the aggression achieving this will all too often kill one or the other. A clear dividor can be a trick to letting them get used to each other first.

I wouldn't do Rams with the kribs as kribs are usually much more aggressive.

I had a pair of Bolivian rams (golden) - the prettiest fish I ever had. I think I lost them both to swim bladder problems caused by digestive blocks I believe. But if you can take care of them they are stunning.
