chocolate chip

I have a chocolate chip starfish and he has this big gash in his side that's alll grey. I think its a fungus...What do I do for him?

I'd try to ask in the salt water invert forum. I'm not sure how many people in this particular forum know about saltwater inverts.

I don't know much about them either though the little I know, it's possibly fungus and will need treating but the saltwater inverts forum regulars will know for sure.
