My powers out and won't be on for at least another day. Luckily I have 2 filters and I'm able to use battery powered pumps to keep my sponge filters running..but, none of my tanks are heated. I'm not worried about the larger tanks, just my 2.5 gallon with 10ish cherry shrimp in it. It's been hot during the day 80s+ but dips to low 50s/ high 40s. Any steps that should be taken? Thanks

Cherries can tolerate temps to about 14 Celcius so they will be fine.

Yes, they can do fine in low temps. They are the least to worry about in regards to temperatures but don't put them in the microwave or in the freezer :)

I have a heater in my shrimp tank, although it's set for cooler than the room usually is. Only ever seen it on when the heating broke.
