I have added a few nets worth of Cherry shrimp, from my 10 gallon breeding tank into my 55 gallon Hillstream tank... and have a few that are large and brightly colored, that have been thriving in that tank... I've not added any new ones for quite a while, and the last couple days, I have seen smaller juvenal shrimp, so they must be breeding in this tank, which was my end goal... I'm OK with some of the smallest getting eaten, but at least a few seem to be sieving to the stage they are safely free swimming...

now, if the other 3 colors of neo shrimp would get busy breeding, I'll begin adding them to a few other tanks🙂

I don't know much about shrimp other than once having a candy cane shrimp in a salt tank but am surprised that any young survive in a community tank as I would think they would be a free lunch. Then again, in nature, I guess it is the same situation... survival of the fittest. The young that make it could possibly be good breeding stock. :dunno:
