Cherry Shrimp And Moss

i bought some red cherry shrimp and i really enjoy these guys really fun to watch and look at bounce around the tank. currently has 1 Betta 4 neon tetras and 1 rcs in a 20g planted tank and i wanted to make a moss effect in half of the tank which is laced with laterite. any suggestions on doing this i was thinking java moss.

Java moss won't work properly. You would be better off using christmas or weeping. Givess a much better effect and is alot thicker.

I tie it to pieces of slate and then put the slate together to create a carpet effect.

Thats the idea im goibg for i want have of the tank bottom coverd and the moss curentlly has some java ferns and a cryptos
