Cherry Barbs?

Were you taljking to me? I know......its sad.....I might be able to keep them but chances are slim.....

Thanks. So what will you/are you housing your cherry barbs with?

The Platy for now, but as said, if he gets picked on, I'll be moving him elsewhere, or taking him in for a trade. Its a 10gallon, My av. I'm pretty sure the guppy is ready to go, he is in the breeder net anyway.

I think tahts a good arangement. a trio in a 10G. I know the guppy'll have trouble with them.....but I dont know about the tetra.

So, your saying the Platy will be okay? The guppy is lying on his side barely breathing, if hes still here tomorrow, I'm euthanising him, his tail rot seems better, but he wont eat, and is really bloated, The platy fin-nipped him pretty badly, since they were the only 2 in the tank after the gourami died.
What else could i possibly add later on? Its 12am here, so I will prolly check this in the morning. lol

A trio would be cool......but remember there semi-aressive, so they need to be with other agressives....
The semi-agressive label on them I think is overstated.
I had them with a variety of fish and the only remote agressing I saw was playful within the group of cherry barbs never expanding beyond their own kind.

I did decide to get them, a got a trio. Boy, is the male red!! I'mthinking a female might be pregnant already, as I dont really want fry though, I'm hoping either few live and the rest get eaten, or she isnt. But then again, i look at baby fishes and aww.....darn darn darn, I think I may have to raise a few in the 5gal....

Seeing as they are egg-layers. The female can't be pregnant (she can be gravid though) and the eggs should get eaten so you need not worry about fry surviving.
