Cherry Barb

I have 5 cherry barbs most of them are gold with a black stripe but one is red with a black stripe my red one keeps chasing a gold on and the gold one that he's chasing looks fat or pregnant is there a reason for this is there a way to tell if they are boys or girls

Only males are 'cherry' coloured, the darker ones are female. They also do not get pregnant.
