i know i have got some cheek! was wondering if anyone has any cuttings they could send me? am trying to bulk up plants but am sooooooooooo skint! i will pay postage and am in uk.

awwww I would send you some but I've got algae and have only just recovered from bga and the last thing I would want is to infect your tank.

Too skint to spend £15? I dont mean that in a mean way, but you can get a nice collection of plants on greenline including postage for £15.

Or there's this: http://www.aquaticplants.eu.com/acatalog/M...IAL_OFFERS.html (at the bottom, fast growing economy mix!) I have no idea what you'd get though but you could phone and ask?

yeah too skint for £15 at the mo. have to spend £2000 on op for my poorly dog. oh well thought it was woth a try. cheers anyway

Not a case of being tight. Most serious planted tank keepers that keep stem plants for example, throw vast quantities of the stuff away every week. The cost of sending it by post would probably be more then the cost of buying it from a mail order place with a good postal deal.

If you lived within a few minutes drive, I'd deliver, but the airfare to the UK and more importantly, the cost of a hire car, means that is not an option.

this is what happened today with him its good and bad news really and a case of waiting

went to see specialist today with buzz. nothing specific wrong and everything looks ok with the op he had which is good!
he had keyhole surgery today to investigate and have the cartlilidge in his knee cleaned! have to wait 3-4 weeks and see how we go............ fingers crossed!

todays grand total was £879 not bad for a days work!

I might be able to sort you out with some vallis if you want it I'm going to be removing it from my tank pretty soon, not sure how much they'll actually be though it might not be worth it but I'll have a gander.

I am soon going to be removing some Hygrophila polysperma from my coldwater tank, which I'd much rather send to you than throw in the bin! If you'd like some then feel free to PM me and I'll see what I can do ^_^
