Check Valve.

Ok, so I set my new aquarium up and put water in it, I already had a 2 way splitter for my air pump, but only 1 check valve, do I need to buy another, or can I put the valve in before it reaches the 2 way splitter?

I have mine in before the splitter and i havn't had any problems, you might find if you put two in after, it will really effect the bubble output i.e slow them down to much, i find that one has a big enough effect and if i didn't need it i wouldn't use it.
