I'm a girl.
I have an Eheim 2217 hooked up to my 125 gallon sump. The way I have it set up is the intake is in the overflow of the tank and the output is in the sump. Now, the one thing that I worry about is that one day, I'm going to come home to a house without power and my room flooded, because the Eheim siphoned water out of the tank and overflowed the sump.
Does Eheim make a check valve for their canister filters? I really don't want to have to worry about this problem. If I have to, I would put the out flow in the tank, but I want to keep it as clean looking as possible and I've run out of tubing.
