If you are injecting Co2 then you can buy a pressure valve that will allow you to have as many bubbles per second as you desire [depending on the pressure of the cylinder].
If you are creating Co2 using yeast and sugar then you really shouldn't worry about check valves as you can play around with the amount of yeast to change the bubble rate.
