Cast-Iron Aquarium
I think my J.L. Mott Iron Works cast-iron aquarium may be quite valuable. It is marked "April 1873." I would love any information about the piece, including how to safely refurbish it.

I want the $4,000 Victorian!!!

Most reef aquaria have steel screws in them in places, these all rust and thus allow iron oxides into the tank.

Hell, I'm sure I've read of people suffering with an iron deficiency in planted tanks, so I doubt there is any major problem with rust in the aquarium.

Must admit, I do love the house one.

Really  I was just thinking it looked horrendous. Almost as bad as a neon pink sunken ship.
