Looks quite a setup for £250, for any local fish keepers!

How about these I just found in there... £85 for 1000 (yes one thousand) litre containers that held fruit concentrate?

i used to work at an oil company that used these IBC containers and there a lot more than that normally.

probably fallen of the back of a wagon as they say

Those IBCs look a great way of getting a huge tank cheaply, just a shame there would not be a side window to watch the fish! Perhaps the answer is a webcam or two in the tank, but without the remote-controlled (via internet) crocodile skull with moving jaws!

Go on jacko, I'll buy a IBC (just down road from me) if you buy and setup that 8-footer

bit too far 5 hours from where i live it is cheap though if it was manchester i would have bought it just to split it down and make the tank freshwater sell off the extras

lol its veneered plywood i think on a solid wood frame it could be laminate flooring it was still a bargain at £250 for all the stuff you get with it 3 external filters 1 is an eheim wet and dry and a skimmer and light unit heater and live rock an 8 foot tank alone is wirth a lot more than £250

What are these made of? Do you think it would be possible to cut out a square in one of the sides and silicone a piece of acrylic in to make a window?

there made from plastic we used to cut the top out of them and use them as bins not sure you could cut the side out and make it water tight again after due to the sides not being perfectly flat there slightly curved from holding 1000kg of fluid
