Cheap Lighting?

I'm still looking for a way to upgrade my lighting on a college student's budget. Would this be efficient for a planted tank? Do you count wattage the same way with these type of compact florescent bulbs as you do with regular florescent bulbs?

Well now I'm having trouble getting this link to work but basically they're using a screw in compact flourescent bulb, that have built in ballasts, and plugging it into and extension cord with a socket adapter. I'd like t try it on my ten gallon. Apparently they say the lights come in 26W or higher.

Hi, i have just upgraded m light from 11 watts to 24 watts for 8UK Gall tank for 22 quid from ebay here:

It seems to be cheap and fits all aquarium sizes well most of them, its just in case u dont want to do it urself

For the same size tank I got 2 Ikea 11w T5 lamps called 'global', 8.99 each, and fully adjustable on those sprung arm things
