Cheap Filter Media

Hi,
Does anyone know of any websites (preferably UK based). That sell filter media such as wool, ceramic tubey things, and other common media quite cheaply.
Also can you use normal wool/floss for filter media.

hi, i get my wool from ebay in large packages for my jewel filter. its the same stuff as the official jewel wool only 1/10 the price

For filter wool, just buy bags of stuffing used for toys. Works great.

Sponges, you can sometimes find the right sort of sponge in DIY shops, but you can buy big bloacks from places that sell pond stuff.

Bio media can be anything with a large surface area.
