Cheap Co2 Setup Just Brought One Myself On Ebay

sorry new to the plant thing so can you overdose and if so what will happen
 
hmm in my lfs theyve had the same setup running for almost a year with crystal reds and and some fish dont know what they are but the shrimp breed as ive seen the babies.

any way in a 40 litre if i just add a tiny squirt every few days will it be ok i have a betta 6 micro rasbor 4 pygmy cories and a bumble bee snail

buy a drop checker to check how much you will need to dose
 
They are OKish for small tanks, but it's hard/impossible to regulate the CO2 properly, meaning most tanks will be getting less CO2 than is optimal, and they require you to be there to actually squirt the thing.

Yeast set ups require less effort and are more reliable IMO.

Then there's finding replacement canisters for it...which can e found at some LFS but will end up costing more than a yeast set up fairly fast.

IMO no CO2 is better than something inconsitant like this.
 
oh um ok i have an issue the only drop checkers on ebay are in china and malaysia and cant buy from there as dad wont let me so what can i do
